Hi,
We have around 7 modules under one project (datastage v8.0.1) and am planning to put all the 7 modules metadata as a respective catageries in the information analyzer (in the Business Glossary) to view and generate the analysis report through workbench. For that am tring to get the steps to be followed right from the start up (information analyzer) to view in workbench but am unable to get any help on this.
If any one can help me to provide the steps to be followed, it will be great.
Thanks in advance,

This is a potentially very complex question, involving best practices, the ways that you organize your tables, your analysis, your business terms, and the ways that you are planning on implementing governance, the roles of users in your organization, etc. etc. etc.
You mentioned a variety of pieces here also ---- all great things....but can you provide a bit more direction? Right now the request is very broad. Are you already using Information Analyzer? Are you asking about how and when to bring in Data Sources for analysis there, and when/how to manage them in Workbench, or how/when they appear?
Workbench will certainly help you tie them together. A single lineage report starting at a (for example) target table will yield all the DataStage jobs that lead up to that target, stringing them together, thru various stage types, evaluating Job Parameters, etc., and provide visibility also to terms you've related to the objects in such a lineage report and also to the notes and analysis statistics coming from Info Analyzer.
....but there are certainly a lot of best practices to observe, and certain steps taken to help you be most successful. If you provide a few pointers we can continue the discussion.
