Job currently unscheduled ran at previously scheduled time ?

Post by YKalpana »

We use DS 7.5.1a, running on AIX5.3. We currently use DataStage Director to schedule batch jobs. Today a job which is currently unscheduled, had run at 10 AM. There are no entries for this job in the crontab, and it is NOT scheduled in the director at this time(from viewing schedule). Wondering why it ran at 10 Am ( which was the preivously sched time). FYI - It was removed from the schedule from Director on 11/7.

Anyone..any insights to why this would occur ?

thanks!

The Director only shows the crontab entries for the currently logged on user. So I'd wager it had been scheduled (and thus run) under a different user. Double-click on any log entry from the run, it will show the "User" there.

That, at least, is easily remedied. Premium membership is not expensive, at less than 30c per day. What else can you buy for this paltry amount that would be as valuable?
