Abnormal termination of job

Post by bansal_deep1 »

I am trying to run a job but this is aborting with error in the log "Abnormal termination of stage ********** detected". Same job was fine a day before, not sure what went wrong.

Please share if any clue on this.

Thanks

Welcome Aboard,
Reset the job and see if any message "From previous Run" pops up. Post your finds here.

I reset the job, but there was no pop up of message. There was nothing like this in log file also. Should I make some setting change to get that message poped up?

Also, as per details from other post related to this, tried following things but they did not help.

- Setting of 'performance' tab parameters.
- Cleaning of &PH&.
- Import the job again from the other environment where this job is working perfectly fine.

Thanks

When I said "pops up", I actually meant, if any message gets logged in the log file. Its a figure of speech. Anyways.
Give us more details of your job design, are you using inter-process buffering or IPC stage etc. Need more info.

Abnormal terminations mostly happen when a NULL value is used in a mathematical calculation.
