Dataset extraction using different node config file

Is it possible to read the dataset with 2 node config file which was actually created by 4 node config file in the datastage job?

In job1, I created the dataset using 4 node config file and
In job2, I extracted the same dataset with 2 node config file will it read?
If possible, How?

Could you please reply to my query if anybody knows..
