Error while creating new connections through SAP Admin

Hi
We are working in the DataStage 7.5x2 version in AIX Environment
We have few Jobs that for distributing IDOCS to SAP downstream.
SAP Idoc load plugin has been registered to the project.
But when we are trying to create new SAP connections through DS SAP administrator its getting failed.
It throws the error saying connections could not be created.
Another error message pops up saying
"Unable to create the directory conn_name on the DataStage server machine to hold temporary Info source datafile for the source system"
Can anyone help me in resolving this issue?
