Hi All,
I m new to this forum.I have an issue while i m trying install DS 7.5.2 in windows XP in my laptop.I installed the DS client first and after that i m trying to install DS server but i m getting the following error.
The MKS Toolkit components installed failed.
Please refer to the Datastage Release Notes.
MKS ToolKit error was: 536870914
Win32 error was: 2
I have already searched through the forum but not able find any solution.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Seems like it cannot find a file that it is looking for. Contact your official support provider, not sure anyone else would know what file that might be.

You do understand that Windows XP is not a supported operating system for the server?
That said, after you have cleaned out all trace of DataStage, you might try installing the server components before the client components next time.
