DataStage EE on zLinux

Hello,

I'm trying to help a friend who has successfully installed Information Server 8.0.1 on zLinux. The linux version is Suse 10 SP2. DataStage is working fine, she has successfully configured connectivity to Oracle and DB2 with their respective clients. Now she's trying to configure connectivity through ODBC to MySql and has been unable to do so. She is trying to import the metadata and keeps getting the same error. The error is: SQLConnect error: Status = -1 SQLState = 01004 Natcode = 0 [ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC lib] Data Truncated

Her .odbc.ini and uvodbc.config are configured properly. What could be causing this error, and how could it get fixed?
