The only pre-8.0 version of DataStage that supports running of DataStage parallel jobs on Windows platform is 7.5x2 (which is not the same as 7.5.2).

I daresay you have not installed this particular version.

The solution is to obtain and install version 7.5x2 or version 8.anything.

Thanks Ray. You are right we are using 7.5.3 in windows Xp. Don't we have any alternate to run DS- px job using 7.5.3 in windows XP?

7.5x2 is your only choice unless you want to go to version 8.0.

Your other alternative is to replace the operating system with a supported Linux operating system. Version 7.5.3 parallel jobs can run on Linux.
