Of what logs do you speak? Why does the subject say "job location", typo?

I need to change the default log location of server and parallel jobs to an especific other.
And yes, was a typo, the subject should say "log location".

You can edit your original post and change the title.
Short answer - you can't. Logs can be stored in either the XMETA repository or the legacy "Universe" repository but other than that you have no other control over it. An exact search here for RTLogging should find discussions on the difference.
Now, that doesn't mean you can't keep the logs as empty as possible and transfer the contents to another location / storage mechanism after each run, many people do. An exact search for ETLStats will turn up those conversations.

DataStage does not keep log files - it keeps logs in database tables.
