Datastage authentication

Hi,

When i'm trying to login to designer/director, i'm getting this error
"Failed to connect to datastage:hostname,project:project name
(Invalid account name supplied(39129))"

The problem is that i'm getting this error only in some client tier computers and in most of the other client tier computers i'm able to login using the same credentials.Checked and verified that the hosts file has same entries in both the computers.In client tier we are using windows computers.

Can someone help me in finding the issue?

Welcome aboard.

"Account" is the same as "project". You are apparently supplying an invalid project name (they are case sensitive) or the client in question can access the domain machine but not the engine machine. Check your client's hosts file (%WINNT_ROOT%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts).
