Job Sequence

Post by anilkanchanapallik »

Hi Friends,

I am facing a small issue while designing the job sequence..Here is the error message that I am getting:

"The instruction at "0x03593828" referenced memory at"0x03593828". The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program".

The designer getting closed after getting this error message. Please suggest me a solution to fix this bug.

Thanks in advance

Does this problem only affect you / your PC? If so, you may want to try an uninstall/reinstall of the client. Does it happen when you perform any particular action when you are editing a Sequence?

Not only myself but also others also getting the same issue. We even tried with uninstalling and reinstalling the client software as well. But there is no luck. Is there any other solution to this issue.

Thank's in advance

Chulett

I did a research on this issue and found that it could be an issue with datastage 7.5 version itself and it could be solved by using a small patch. But I havn't found any information regarding that patch. Is there any possibility to get the patch or path even.

Thank's in advance

That would be a question for your official support provider. You may be referring to the "Service Pack 2" patch if you are on Windows XP or there may be some other I'm not aware of. Regardless, you'd need to get it via your support provider.

You can search the Fix Central site for patches that apply to your particular version and operating system. You can also download the selected patches and fix packs from there.
