Data checking for Siebel import

Hi everyone:
I am creating DS jobs to import (upsert) data to Siebel database using DS Siebel connector. I'd like to know if there is a way in DS to determine/write out (to a seq file/table) whether records were processed into Siebel tables successfully. Currently, I am joining between the source data coming in, and the data imported to Siebel Base table. Those not found in Siebel were marked as 'not imported'. I'd just wonder if there is a better way to perform this auditing? Thanks-
