Hi ,
I'm unable to send an Email from Sequencer(using mail notification) and finally came to know that our mail server does not support SMTP
protocol is there any way of sending an email from DS.

my requirement is my job should trigger an email with status as soon as it finishes


i Also tried sending an email from Unix using mailx cmd but this is also not working. it would be really of great help if any one can help me out its urgent. Thx in advance

What about 'sendmail' from the UNIX server? Oh, and let us know what O/S flavor and version you have there.

The version is SunOS Generic_118558-09 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490 .
some of my collegues suggested that mail box needs to be configured by Unix Admin to send External mails...
