I was wondering if anybody has been able to use the Redbrick Bulk load stage to load a Redbrick database stored on another server. Or if this cannot be done how someone may have gone about moving the files to another server and manually scheduling TMU loads.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

While I haven't done it, the approach I'd take would be to use the Copy Management utility (rb_cm). Of course this assumes that there is a copy of Red Brick on the DataStage server machine, or at least the relevant executables. It's my understanding that you can do this.

Another possibility is to mount the disk where you write the data from DataStage onto the Red Brick machine and use rb_ptmu triggered by a remote execution method from DataStage or from a scheduler.
