Jobs that were taking 3 hrs are now taking 6-7 hrs.
We are running Datastage 8.01 under VMWare ESX 3.x but have not had problems until this week.
Several of us have verified that nothing we can identify has changed on the servers...same size files process, same number of records, server CPU, disk, RAM, etc. are all in line with where they were when the server was running everything in 3 hrs.
We've checked files that have changed on the server, nothing suspicious...
We've checked log files for Windows and SQL Server (v 2005 holds the xmeta db...)...nothing out of the norm...
Server reboots have no effect...
[We've logged the issue with IBM but it's been over 2 days and no real assistance....]
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check that the job logs are not becoming unwieldy. Generation of error or warning messages for every row can substantially slow processing. Also purge old entries from the &PH& folder in your project.
