Generating VOC

Hi,

I have deleted the VOC file in one of the datastage project, by mistake at the OS level, in the pre-production environment.

VOCLIB and other files are there.

I copied the VOC file of the same project, present in the production environment, but of no use.

Is there any possibility of generating/creating VOC file again ? If yes then please let me know about it.

Restore the VOC file from your most recent system backup.

That is the only possibility.

There is no mechanism for satisfactorily "regenerating" a VOC file for a project.

The reason for that is information that is hidden within the VOC header, including the schema name of the project. You must reinstate exactly what you deleted.

And, don't do it again.
