Hi Saama,

As mentioned, dsjob is command that need to be executed from your unix command prompt. It is the executable available under $DSHOME/bin. Not from TCS or COMMAND option from Datastage Adminstrator.

dsjob is command that you need to execute in command prompt (Unix/Windiows).

The issue might be, when you ran the first job with Auto/Entire, the all data might be present in Entire node. And in second job, when you try to make the lookup partition as Entire or Auto, it might try to make the data available all the data in Entire node. Hence as suggested, if you first job is ...

dsjob -report <project> <Job Name> DETAIL
should give you reports in safest way.

What is the error message? Is is invalid username/password?
Try running the job by passing correct parameter. If that works, make sure the same parameter is passed when called from JobSequence. As suggested, you can check this with log entries.

how to run the job using command line? wats the syntax?

Are you focused on compiling or running the job. dsjob command is used to run the job from command line. Type dsjob, you will get the list of attributes that need to be passed.

I could just see that you have mentioned "*** No output from command *** ", so check the command that been executed from DS Director, and execute the same command from command line. By some chance expected paramter might not be passed.
