Object Permissions

I have set umask=002 in the dsenv file and objects seem to be created with permissions of 755 rather than 775. This causes an error message when other developers attempt to execute the job. Is there anything else I should be checking ? regards, Peter NOTICE This e-mail and any attachments are confid...

Ascential Software has actually purchased Version Control from DCS-Strategies and is available for release 5.1 of DataStage. (Contact your sales rep or Ascential directly) Or can be downloaded from the Tools4DataStage.com web site. Also the Co-Sort plug-in is in existence just not marketed and sold ...

It is a bit misleading! The Ascential web site also mentions Version Control in 5.1 however the link provided takes you to the Tools 4 Datastage web site and the Version Control tool developed by DCS-Stategies. This version control tool was sold by DCS as an add to DataStage but I believe Ascential ...

So for Job 1 - I should expect to see a table: DS_JOB1 ?? I cant seem to find either DS_JOB1 or DS_JOB001 in my project. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Smallhorn [mailto:greg_smallhorn@hotmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, 2 January 2002 4:31 PM To: datastage-users@oliver.com Subject: RE: Setting job...

At a DataStage engine prompt, or in the Administrator command window, execute the statement: SELECT * FROM DICT DS_JOBS WHERE "TYPE" = D ORDER BY "TYPE", "KEY.CODE"; This will give you a list of the public columns in the DS_JOBS table. In release 4.2 at least, there are no hidden columns in this tab...

I noticed in a project where I promoted all the jobs using the 5.1 Version Control Tool that the value of READONLY is RELEASED. I tried changing my sample job to have READONLY = RELEASED but again it allowed me to save/change the code. Is there a way to list out all the columns on the table DS_JOBS ...
