If you have the default values specified in the job which you can set from the director you do not need to pass the information at all and the job will use the default values. OK, point taken ... I was a bit too quick to respond. I have never used the "Utility" routines. Not even sure if I recall seeing them back in DataStage 3.5 where we started our development. Somebody told me that I can have a Short message on my cellular phone to indicate the status of a running job whether it finishes successfully or aborted. Does anybody know how to enable this?
