hi everyone, Is DataStage 4 server compatible with Windows 2000? We are now preparing to upgrade our server to a more powerful one and we want to have an operating system that will handle the extra memory (8 gigs). Cristiano, I havent put on my DBA hat for awhile, but I believe that this is your problem: BEQ connections in the tnsnames.ora file are local connections. They work when the server is running on the same machine as the client, and do not utilize NET8 connectivity, which is required for an OCI stage....
