wolfgang, I did not understand what you meant by Fieldmarks as One Argument. You can checkout the routine and see if you understand it better. thanks. -----Original Message----- From: wolfgang.huerter@gerling.de [mailto:wolfgang.huerter@gerling.de] Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 8:41 AM To: datastage-...

HashFileLookup Utility

Hi all,
I wanted to use the Hashfile lookup routine on DS 6.0 but the routine only has one key argument. Has anyone used this to lookup matching on multiple keys? or if anyone has an idea of how its being used.

Could be worth asking IBM about this. An ODBC driver may prove sufficiently performant for SELECT. Another possibility is that a DB2 instance on your DataStage server machine (or some other UNIX/Windows machine) can make the DB2 tables on the AS400 machine transparently visible. Ive forgotten the na...

Lisa, We are currently using DataStage to pull information from the AS/400. Since we did not have any connectivity option in place on the AS/400 we purchased our connectivity from Ascential. Ascential resells the iWay (Information Builders) AS/400 middle ware and provides an EDA plug-in for DataStag...

AS400/DB2

I am currently researching the possibility of pulling data from a new system using a DB2 database on an AS400 and have very minimal information about them at this time. I am looking for some literature that lists DataStage connectivity, such as, if you are running on this OS, with this configuration...
