There used to be a job at ADN. It would clear the log files of all the jobs in a project. Try to see if its still there. Thats one of the ways to clear the log files of multiple jobs at the same time.

But i dont think this is something that you need to worry about. The job will run just fine. If you have to view the records, do it from the unix level by using the head and tail options.

Thats not what i meant. Just define a parameter name in your job properties and default its value to the job name you are looking for. Use that parameter name within hashes inside the notification activity. Also pay attention to what Ray asked and Kims suggestion.

Go to the job properties of the sequence job and check out the job properties. You must have checked the "Automatically handle jobs that fail". Thats why the job is finishing rather than aborting.

If you are then there must be an option in the load stage whether to remove the temp files or not. I know for sure that the UDB load stage has that option, i...

Try giving a different name for the job parameter. That might not work as its a macro name. Try giving the name of the parameter as just JobName and use it as #JobName# inside the notification activity.

Parametrize it. I am not exactly sure whether macros work in the notofication activity or not but you can surely parametrize it.
