Hi,
A supporting solaris 10 version was supposed to be out already,
So contact your support for the correct DS version or the date when it comes out if it had not yet for some reason.

Hi,
what exactly do you mean?
Server Routines? (compiled when built and needs no further compilation)
C++ user routines? (A Make file will solve it)
DS wrappers for routines? (Not That I know of, currently)

(I think Ken posted something way back regarding similar question)

IHTH,

you'll need to post way more info,
when do you get it?
explain the process you went thru and so on.
there is little anyone can say regarding an obscure question with so little info in it.

Hi,
one possible work around not hacking/changing the repository itself could be exporting the version control project and changing the ascii file manually.

Never have I tried it but it seems a safe bet for a work-around ;)

Hi,
There is a trick using hash files !
create the file to hold the customer IDs in an array (i.e. seperated by a @VM for Value Mark)
and in the table definition put that column's type as MultiValue.

Hi,
what problems?
what EE version you try to install?
I think I'll perform a similar operation in a few months when we upgrade as well.

Great, that means that an Informix sdk 2.8 (I think) of the HC version should work! (It's the 32bit for 64bit platforms) by the way I got this mail: Have you settled the problem of Datastage CLI connect? I have the same problem as you , I run DS 7 on HP 64bit with Informix 9 as DataSource . If I had...

Hi,
if my memory serves me  (no QS avail so relying on my memory alone)

My guess would be that you used an existing patern that has a standardization rule?.

(Time to go over my QS notes I guess)

IMHO, The numbers Vincent mentioned are for the simple reason that there are less experts in the mentioned areas outside Ascential. Most people here are Server and EE People. If this site had more experts posting regarding the other topics the picture might have been different. Plus the more veteran...

Hi and Welcome aboard , Did you set your DSN as a system or local user one? Are you using the same login user when connecting/running DS jobs? There might be the off chance the list is not updated, in that case simply type the DSN manually and if all is ok it will work and the next time you'll see i...

Hi, First you must try to check this prior to bringing the DS Server/service down. Secondly your sysadmins can clean that connection if it is a zombie one. If there is a client still open it might not go untill you close hte client or sysadmins kills it. usually there might be a several minutes time...

Hi,
I had some cases where I had to rewrite logic when changing things like that.
So I guess you might wanna try rewriting the logic, in fresh stages/links, to the part you changed.

Well still no luck with Informix,
Anyone working with informix when DS is on hp-ux?
I'd like configuration details for Informix client to make it work.
I currently got the 32bit for 64bit OS as I understand.
I followed all the config specs from the docs, but not working :(.

Thanks in advance,
