So you can have files arrive during the processing? If so then yes, you could do something like that. What I used to do in that situation was setup a 'processing' directory / sub-directory and before job move all current files to be processed there so the list was static and it didn't matter what sh...

Exactly. You would "Execute a Shell command" after the job completes to use an operating system command to move the files elsewhere. Can you answer my "biggest question" please?

I don't know why you are seeing a zero rather than the 11, you may need to go to support on that. What exact release are you on? Mostly just wanted to point out that you should never hard code status numbers anywhere, including trigger expressions. Use the appropriate status text in your expression ...

Too large for your UNIX sendmail server, what you can send via the company email has no bearing on this. Talk to your UNIX SA about it and your options.

As noted early on, you'd need to script something using the various dsjob options. All of that information is in individual job tables, there's no file you can simply grep. If you don't have the documentation handy, you can start here. Specifically the 'Listing projects, jobs' and 'Retrieving inform...

You don't necessarily need to write a script although that would give you more control over exactly what happens and how you handle errors / issues. Biggest question in my mind is can other files arrive while the job is running or will a search for "*.xml" after the job completes always re...

In the alert log from what I recall. Talk to your DBA. As noted, the "deadlock trace file" will have all of the gory details behind the issue. Are you aware of the kind of things that can cause a deadlock? Is this error repeatable or does it depend on the time of day the job is run or what...

Better? Depends. A csv is just a flat file and anything can read it and it is what you had to do before things like that new stage showed up. That or, since you are on Windows, use an ODBC driver for Excel. Saves an extra step since you don't have to do the "Save as" but many people find d...

Of course it's possible. There's just the question as to what information is stored in what table since they're not documented and the names are (somewhat) obfuscated. As noted, perhaps others who've done things like this in XMETA can chime in. Or perhaps ping your official support provider on the s...
