If that's literally all you need to do then perhaps a simple cypher like ROT13 would work for you? Or some other letter substitution cypher of your own design? Both of those can be reversed. Keep in mind though, the simpler it is for you to build the simpler it would be for someone to break. If the ...

What about names? Phone numbers? Addresses? Will you be dealing with data like that? I'm also concerned this whole topic might be a non-starter if you think you need to be able to reverse the process.

Sounds like from reading the error message you need to specify something to tell it when to stop reading messages from the source queue.

Why don't we start by you defining what you mean by "mask"? Examples are always good. I've found there's a lot of confusion out there about the term and sometimes people really mean encrypt or redact. Depends on how you'll be using the data afterwards. If you need to reverse the process, y...

Figured if it worked like the Server version that it was a "catch all" and only took rows that didn't go down any other link. Automatically. Without any specific logic. Just was a little confused about calling it a "reject" link when what I recalled wasn't really called that exce...

Reject links from Transformers are either for Server jobs or for logical constraint driven rejects. In Parallel jobs they are typically directly from the target stage. If your "reject" link doesn't have a constraint on it, however, then every record you push through the job will go down it...

I asked because you've never been able to run two client versions at the same time, that's why in the past they gave you the MCM or Multi-Client Manager which allowed you to switch the active version. HOWEVER, I'm not sure that's even possible any longer with the new topology. I'm going to need to r...

So... you are asking why you get an error attempting to use an 11.3 client to connect to an 8.7 server? :? If that's not what you are asking, you'll need to be more precise regarding what "this machine" is and what "server A" is and where exactly the 8.7 client was installed and ...

Funny, that's three times in the last handful of days that I've heard the phrase "correlation is not causation" and two of the three times have been from you.
