Why not detail what exactly was the "it" that you tried and what the result was that you actually received? People should be able to give more targeted help from there.

Don't have any direct experience with this but it seems to me it would be easy enough to create a small test job with a handful of columns and try this out for yourself. Then let us know.

Meaning Excel is the ultimate target, I assume. Since you are on Windows, investigate the use of the Excel ODBC driver to see if this is possible.

I've never heard of any such utility but since both are IBM products, perhaps this is something they have in-house and offer as a service. In exchange for a large sum of money.
