Kim, perhaps an explanation of what that is in the context of DataStage would help? Or is that meant to be part of poll, a.k.a. the first answer? We always do something I would consider to be a "sanity check" but no clue how closely that ties in to any sort of official... thing.

Host it somewhere (there are a ton of free image hosting services out there) and then use the Img or image tags. Most services will automatically build them for you as well, knowing you will more than likely be posting them elsewhere. :wink:

Another option is to ditch the FTP stage and switch over to a script that does the "mget" for you. Once the files are on the ETL server, your job can then process them using a wildcard pattern in the Sequential File stage, loading them all at once rather than one by one. Possible downside?...

But it does, my friend - at least as a downloadable wordfile. Go here and scroll down to DataStage BASIC. I used to tweak it to my tastes which from what I recall is very easily done. Now what they don't have is one for Informatica. :(

Yup, as noted there really isn't a "minimum" compiler version, there are only the exact versions supported for your release and things can (for whatever reason) easily go off the rails if you use something other than what they list.
