Unfortunately, "Stopped/Restartable" is a lie. It's not. The only restartable status is "Aborted/Restartable".

I've looked at the same code and have very little idea what cp$dtm would be. That's the problem with going 'under the covers' and using undocumented internal functions not meant for us mere mortals. :wink:

The difference in performance of using 1 Transformer or 4 is minimal. However, 4 helps support his "conditional" lookup model and can help performance if large numbers of lookups fail. With everything in one transformer, all lookups would be done unconditionally. With multiple transformer...

No, 'fraid I don't. Mine was a new install on an SP3 machine, not where SP3 was added to an old client machine. Best to ask your official support provider about this and let us know what you find out. I imagine this could become more and more of an issue as SP3 rolls out.

I just had something similar with a brand new install on an SP3 machine... but a reinstall of the client (right over the top of 'old' one) fixed things for me.

Interesting this came up searching for SP3 - just got a new work laptop running XP SP3 and having some odd DataStage issues. Not sure if it's related or not but I think I'm one of the first here at work with that service pack and I'm getting automation/ole errors trying to add new parameters to jobs...
