You would need to run the job with a low warning threshold so the job aborts because of the warnings but I don't believe there is a way you could abort the job because of this specific warning. :? XMETA is a specific 8.x concept but there is always a 'repository service' that runs regardless of version and you access the DSEngine repository via the Administrator or from a TCL prompt launched via 'dssh'.

What is "new" about this New Oracle Database? Is it a different version from the OLD Oracle Database? One 9i and one 10g for example?

Stage variables. Simplest answer would be a value that is incremented only when Id = 1. What happens when there are more than three ids in a 'batch'?

You need to ensure there are zero connections to the repository, defunct or otherwise, before the REINDEX will fix things. I find it best to do it immediately after bouncing DataStage.

Memory is a little fuzzy but I think that was a fairly stable release. We had good luck with 9.2.0.6 from what I recall but weren't on RAC... though I'm not sure that would be an issue here.
