I agree with Michael. Describe your disk storage. Do you have Veritas or some kind of virtual filesystem?

Describe your network and the network path from your server to source systems and target systems.

If you run top then it may not be a CPU issue. It could be disk IO is not as good. It could be the network is setup poorly. It could be that these machines are designed to run lots of users and not a few large processes.

I took Ray's code and created a routine named KgdCreateDdlMetadata. This will create the DDL to create a table from these records. It sounds like you already have the DDL on one side. This routine has been posted already but if you cannot find it then I will post it again.

Always. I have not updated this in awhile. I should soon. I want to add mb/sec to the tables and reports. I also want to add logic to email to anyone by typing in the email address and by passs the shell script logic. Minor changes.
