Have you verified that by periodically checking the active semaphore count? The culprit that strongly appears to be causing our semaphore leak is the istool utility (running nightly project exports on the server, per project), and was not listed on the IBM technote.

There are a couple of technotes about that error on the IBM Support Portal. Double check your DB2 environment variables. Make sure the values are still correct, make sure you have restarted Information Server, etc.

One point overall is that ISA Lite is not able to catch everything ahead of time. You may have to talk with your software support about it. If that's not IBM then they may have to turn around behind the scenes and open a support case with IBM. Please share what you find out.

The 9.1 information center says the same thing for server jobs--CFF stage does not support reference lookup capability or input links.

Just to clarify, do you want to dump it into a DB2 column with a data type of CLOB or XML, and not parse the XML or validate it?

As of now it looks like they offer certification in DataStage 8.5 and 9.1, QualityStage 8.5 and 9.1, and Information Analyzer 8.5 and 9.1. They must have skipped over 8.7 for certification.
