Where were you "standing" when you invoked Data Lineage? On the Stage? On the Job.....if you were on a stage, "which" stage?

Lineage execution is critically dependent upon your location when you invoke it.

Yes....I've tried it. It works well. There's a new "Pivot Enterprise Stage" that has a pull down for both horizontal and vertical. Vertical asks you for an "array" size (the number of columns that you want to create from "n" rows, and then it generates the column names ...

Indeed. It is included on the media. You install it locally...only takes a half minute..... I've only just started playing with it, but it already offers a great way to get the "big picture" of what you are doing in your data integration domain. At its simplest, it's a drawing tool with ar...

As far as I know, Solaris 9 and 10 64 bit will be supported, as normal. I don't know exactly which date it will follow on but it's in the plan that I've been teaching. ; )

If you aren't asking MQ to split it, then speak with the authors of the application that are putting the messages into the queue, and spend time and get to know the mqsc (runmqsc) command line program or use the MQ Explorer --- be able to actually "see" the active queue depth from an MQ po...

/a/b/text()

...and make one of them a "key".

It would be nice, but I don't believe that there is a way to view Custom Attributes within FastTrack..... next best thing would be to launch Business Glossary Anywhere from within FastTrack to see any dynamic Custom Attributes...

Did YOU load the queue? Did you do the test with only ONE message in the queue....AND do you have access to the queue while it is in MQ.....do this test when you are CERTAIN that there is only ONE message in the queue.... ...9999 is pretty tiny, but it could be that MQ split it...(or the application...

Chances are, no one's played with it much or not in a long time. I looked at it a long time ago and found it interesting, but have never needed it or used it since, and have forgotten exactly how it works or how to configure it. --- I review operational metadata either in the log directly, using dsj...
