You either want Cartesian products, as one reading shows, or you don't, as another reading shows. But there is no way to "avoid" Cartesian product if what you need is the result of a Cartesian product.

Excel does have a Track Changes option on the Tools menu.

But I agree with Vincent. We saw FastTrack at IOD 2007, and it looks "the goods". It will even generate your DataStage (parallel) jobs for you!

Not having access to EE at the moment, I ask whether you can draw a reject link from the SQL Server Enterprise stage? If so, the SQL error code should automatically appear on it. At least, that's how the Oracle Enterprise stage does it.

I observe that 7 is approximately 32 / 4, so the figure of 7 you are reporting may be for one node only.

Stages (operators) run (possibly) in separate processes. Therefore the variables available to one are not available to the others.
