That suggests that the username/password in the command is incorrect, or that the login/security service (in the services tier - the machine where WAS is installed) is not running/inaccessible.

DataStage has within itself Resource Estimator and Performance Analysis tools. Performance Analysis does, if I recall correctly, show PIDs.

Looks like there was a problem installing MKS Toolkit while you were installing DataStage (as part of Information Server install). Go back to your install logs to determine what went wrong and where.

Import the table definition. Specify fixed width. Specify column widths of 5,1,6 (or whatever is correct). Define "proper" column names. Use that table definition for the Format as well as the Columns tab. All will be well.

Does the box just ask for a default (e.g. OK) response? If so you can try the old trick of redirecting stdin from /dev/null (or .\NUL).

Use the Monitor in Director.
Double click on any component - its PID should be displayed amongst the other information.
