UPDATE: Information Analyzer client connects (haven't submitted any profling jobs yet - expect it to fail)
Server Manager also connects (a newer eclipse interface)
Don't have FastTrack.
It's the traditional/legacy DS apps that don't connect: Director, Administrator, DataStage.

I don't know if you tried this yet, but in the Web Admin console, under the Administration tab => Domain Management => DataStage Credentials, to the right is where you can optionally input "Default DataStage and QualityStage Credentials".
