How to tell which posts read?
Sometimes it is difficult for me to visit this site for some time then I am having no time to read hundreds of posts when finally I am able to return. Is there any way to keep records of "unread" posts (this is not the same thing as "new since last visit")? I am thinking this is a very useful thing to have available.

This was actually posted some time ago by me as well.
As Ray noted, posts you didn't visit since they changed are marked with darker shade of blue and those you visited are marked with lighter blue.
This way you can destingwish the 2 and overcome the fact that any login causes the orabge markes of unread posts to dissapear.
