Number of posts in own information

Post by JamasE »

Hello,

Currently, on the main page, we see stuff like "Number of Points Earned" and "Number of New posts". How about "Number of Posts posted" or something?

Even if we can't make the top 10, some of us might like to find out just how we have done (without looking at all members ordered by number of posts).

Cheers,
Jamas

Your posts count and points are to the left of every post you've made. 8)

True, but they meant on the Home Page. I'd agree, you could replace Points with Posts there and be better off. Still don't know what's up with the whole point system anyway.

Points may be no good for booking flights or getting golf gloves but they do tell you how wordy you have been. Points seem to be allocated on the number of words (minus quoted paragraphs). Craig at 5.5 points per post is relatively concise with his posts. Ray at 6.4 unleashes the occassional full Wurlod. Kim is at 7.15 has a few generous source code posts amidst all his answers. Ken heads the pack with 8.6 points per post and I think my favourites folder is full of some of his dw essays.
