Automated Tool for ETL Testing/Validation

We primarily use DataStage 8.5/11.5 for our data integration needs and soon will also be using Information. Currently all our ETL testing are manual.

I am looking for tools/softwares that can be used to "AUTOMATE ETL TESTING" mainly for Datastage and Informatica.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

datastage with quality stage can do a LOT of testing and you can automate the tests to run the same way you automate your jobs to run, you can have it send email reports or alerts, and so much more. It can join or compare what is in your source and target. It can put your source and target columns side by side. It can run sql and look at the results.

For Informatica automated testing, google the Informatica "Data Validation Option" or DVO software. In my experience, this software helped the testing team validate the changes without understanding the code.
