DataStage® Release: 11x
Job Type: Parallel
OS: Unix
I am trying to configure the subscription manager to get basic notification of IGC governance events particularly IGC_BUSINESSTERM_EVENT.

I am following the configuration steps as given in this link.
http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSZJPZ_11.5.0/com.ibm.swg.im.iis.bg.doc/topics/t_enabling_notifications_feature_BASIC.html

I am stuck at this step where we run the event registercallback istool command.

I am not sure of the parameter value for -callbackService for the IGC_BUSINESSTERM EVENT.The -callbacktype is given as IIS_SERVICE.

The callbackservice given in the example com.ibm.iis.emc.callback.ExceptionEventCallbackService is for exception events.

I cannot the register the event due to this.

Could you please help to figure out the value for callbackservice for IGC_BUSINESSTERM_EVENT.

Which version?

What is the exact problem that you are facing? I don't think you need to register anything for a basic email notification. The registration works only when you have an external application to be triggered for any events.

Check directly in the subscription manager and see if you are able to find the email option when you select this particular event, if it shows it should work. Other issue that you face could be because of the email configuration in your server which you should check with your system admin.

You do not need, and indeed cannot, register callbacks for basic event subscriptions. Callbacks are only available for application subscriptions. Try registering the basic event subscription thr ...
