Information Server 8.7 is available for download today. I can see it in my Partnerworld software catalog. I can see downloads for Windows, AIX, HP, Linux and Solaris. Details on my blog Information Server 8.7

Found this today, interesting stuffs.

Version 8.7 introduces new features and functions that affect existing Version 8.5 jobs. In some cases, you can set environment variables to retain the Version 8.5 behavior.

It sure did look snazzy.

DASHBOARD!!!! woohoo

IA ruleset now applicable to a new RuleSet stage within DataStage.

PXDebugger for single stepping your code. nice.

And my 8.5 PROD environment just went live last week. :(( Wish I could just jump to 8.7 if I could.
