Anyone else have downloaed php file issues when posting?

Post by eostic »

These are getting tiring. Anyone know why I get dozens of php files downloaded anytime I post something to the forum. I used to see it "once in awhile"...but now it's all the time.......and often it hangs things up.

Thanks.

Not sure about the "downloading php files" part, perhaps that is going on and I have no clue. But it sounds like it is related to this, which has been going on, well... basically forever.

My problem is almost always with posting.php which times out. I assume it's something to do with updating the underlying database.

I get that too, Ray. I hit the submit button again if it hangs and then delete the duplicate post.

My "solution" is to return to the forum (the new post shows as unread, but not duplicated). Sometimes I open the "unread" post, sometimes I ignore it.

My response is similar to Ray's and is documented in the linked post.
