Hi All,
We are facing some problem while importing jobs which has Chinese characters in transformation logic. It gives the following errors while importing-
"Error converting hex character '51F3'-ignoring. Current line=Derivation"\(51F3)"" and "Unicode character '51F3' appears not to be supported by code page 936 ignoring it. Current line=450" etc..
We are still able to complete the imports, but after the import is over, the Chinesecharacters are getting replaced by NULL.The client machine has windows OS with Chinese code page set at Regional Language Settings.
As an additional information, we have NLS MS936-CS and MS950-CS mappings set at the datastage server and are able to view Chinese characters in view data mode.

Hi Ray,
Our datastage server is SunOS 5.9 sparc.
When we take export of jobs, the dsx file are generated with Charater Set as 'UNICODE'. Do you think if we change the server code page to 936 it will solve the problem?
If so, please tell how to change code page of a Unix server?
Will it effect the other jobs with no special characters?
