Jobs statistics displaying 0 zeros all of a sudden...

Post by Minhajuddin »

Hi all,

I have searched for my kind of problem, But, didn't find any which helped me, Our Datastage server(7.5x2) is installed on a Windows 2003 server.

Sometimes the job statistics stop showing the actual number of rows and start showing "0 rows". This problem however gets solved whenever we reboot the server. I also observed the whenever this happens the Telnet service also stops.

Has anybody had a similar issue?
Appreciate any help.
Thank you.

Did you try searching for 'JobMonApp'?

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the reply. I searched the form for JobMonApp and went through a lot of posts. But, I didn't find any post related to a windows install. From the posts I infer that, In Unix the PXEngine\Java has the JobMonInit file which needs to be run. I searched the same directory in my windows install but didn't find any executables. Am I missing something here?

Thanks for the help...

I'm guessing that on a Windows server that would be a Service you would need to check and see if it was running. However, not having any personal experience with DataStage on Windows, I'll defer to people who actually know what they are talking about.
