"DM growRecord Error" when the job is scheduled

Post by mahmoud76 »

Hi,
I have a parallel job that reads from Oracle connector and writes into a dataset, when I run the job manually it completes successfully. But, when the job is scheduled it aborts with the following error:

Internal Error: (!stat.error()):api/dataset_rep1.C: 1883: File data set, DM growRecord error.

This is on DataStage 11.7 on AIX.

Does the scheduled job run under a different user which has different settings? And how can I check, I tried to check in Administrator client, but "Schedule" Tab is disabled.

Thanks for any input.

Regards
Mahmoud

In Director, when I open the job details in schedule mode, it shows in the job parameter box:

ISUSER=isadmin

which is the same user I used while running the job manually.

Is your engine on Windows or not? If on Windows, there's a different user for scheduled jobs that can be specified in the Administrator client Schedule tab.
