Hello,
I would like to understand if there is any impact on job performance (run time) between using one very large xml stage and using a number of smaller xml stages and joining the data back together with a look up.
The reason I ask is because I have a large number of multivalue fields which each require an aggregate step in the assembly and have to be manually mapped in the output step.
The problem is that the aggregate steps cannot be given a meaningful name and so I will end up with a large number of rather anonymous steps which will be difficult to map. Breaking the task down in to a number of stages would make it easier.
Many thanks,
Bob.
