DataStage 8.5 Fix pack 2 installation failed

I was installing DataStage 8.5 Fix Pack 2 but it was taking hours, the install progress is nearly finished and no error showed. It was hanging there for hours and eventually the root session is inactive. Can I install Fix Pack 2 again? or I need to uninstall it and then redo installation. Anything I need to take care of before re-installation? Thanks a lot.

Check your Version.xml file in the default installation location, this will tell whether the install was successful or not.

To reinstall you will need to use the -force option on the install command
