I am also not able to connect to the webconsole.

Please suggest what can be the error and resolution ??? ... I have tried restarting the Infosphere services. but in vain.

I am trying to search for this topic but no resolutions found.

Suddenly, eh?

What's changed? ("Nothing" is not the correct answer, obviously.)

Usually this problem is associated with the default WebSphere Application Server process (server1) not running. Have you checked this using the serverStatus.sh script?

Hi Ray,

After hunting for the reason i guess that this was due to 100% utilizations in one of the users home directory. The IS did not start completely after it was brought down during weekly server backup process.

Thanks for your inputs. The server1 was not running as you mentioned.
I restarted the Infosphere services but it did not work. I restarted the Unix box and then it worked fine after the autostart.

Now we are able to connect to the IS normally.
