IBM provide a patch. This issue is fixed

We had a similar issue. IBM thought it was a memory leak issue, and developed a patch. We have yet to apply it to see if it works. The patch they suggested is
patch_JR30596_server_solaris_801fp1.tar

Does this patch also work on 8.5 ? The problem was detected in 8.x but the APAR page talks about 7.5.2

This is more than six year old post. Patch JR30596 came out about two years prior to DataStage 8.5, so most probably it is incorporated in the base version.

You will get more traction, by opening a new post describing the issue/error message along with any other relevant details. Are you using DRS Plugin stage? What is the the server OS?
