WSDL definitions - inactive

Post by deepthi »

Hi,

We have recently installed webservice pack on server side. Could able to see the web services client and web services transformer stages on the designer pallet. when tried to import any WSDL, the "web services WSDL Definition " are inactive or greyed out.

Do we have to install any thing on client side? I don't see any web service components on the manger in data elements section.

We are planning to use webservices for the first time. Any help is highly appreciated.

Thankyou

Deepthi

Yes, from what I recall there is a client portion that needs installing as well.

Assuming this is 7.x, Craig is right. There is a server and a client component. Either it wasn't installed or something went wrong during install. In v8, WSPack is just "there."
