Issue with timestamp

Hi DSguru2B,

The date got added by one.

Ex: 07-01-2007 00:00:00 (In SQL tool)
07-02-2007 00:00:00 (In DS)
Not understanding what's going on :? .... As suggested by Craig I will ask my lead to check with the offical support provider...

Try providing TRUNC(Field_date) in the derivation column in the column's tab. Do you still get the date with 1 added to it. Or this time you are getting the correct date. Time will be 00:00:00 as you are truncating the time part. This is just for debugging purposes.

Yea. I guess you should.
But I have a question, If your TO_CHAR mask is YYYY-MM-DD then why is your date showing up as 07-02-2007? Is'nt it suppose to be 2007-07-01?
